  • Is your office accepting new patients?

    Yes, our office is currently accepting new patients.

  • What insurance does your office accept?

    We participate with a long list dental insurances, including but not limited to Delta Dental, Metlife, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Guardian, United Healthcare, United Concordia, etc...  Please contact our front desk staff directly with your specific insurance information, and we will happily verify your coverage for you.

  • When is your next opening for an appointment?

    Please contact our front desk staff directly at 248-299-8300 to inquire about our soonest opening. 

  • Where is your office located?

    We are located at 1390 W. Auburn Rd, Rochester Hills, MI. Our office is across the road from Avondale Middle School.

  • What happens during a new patient appointment?

    A new patient appointment includes cleaning and xrays done by one of our highly trained hygienists. Afterwards, the doctor will perform your exam. In all, this will take about 60-70 minutes.

  • Does your office accept Medicaid and/or Medicare?

    We participate with select Medicaid and Medicare plans. Please contact our front desk directly with your specific insurance information and we will happily verify your coverage for you.

  • Does your office offer sedation?

    We offer nitrous oxide gas sedation only. We do not offer oral and IV sedation.

  • Do you offer payment plans?

    Yes, our office has payment plans in place to assist patients with financial limitations. Plans must be set up with our billing office representative.

  • Does your staff have experience with young children?

    Yes. We treat patients of all ages, including young children. If a child is uncooperative, and requires sedation, we will consult with the parents and refer them to a pediatric dentist.

  • Are you an orthodontist?

    Dr. Niazi is a general dentist who is professionally certified and qualified to offer orthodontic treatment such as braces and clear aligners.

  • Can your office perform extractions?

    Yes, our providers perform in-office tooth extractions. However, keep in mind that we offer only nitrous oxide gas sedation. Patients who require oral and/or IV sedation are referred to an oral surgeon.

  • Does your office perform root canals?

    Yes, our providers perform root canals in office. However, sometimes, if a case is complicated, we do refer patients out to and endodontic specialist.

  • How many years of experience do your dentists have?

    Dr. Shakeel Niazi has been practicing general dentistry for 34 years. He has been certified in providing youth and adult braces for 34 years. He has been providing Invisalign to patients for 25 years. His son, Dr. Umair Niazi, joined the office in 2020.

  • Do multiple dentists work at the practice? Will I always have the same dentist or is there a rotation system?

    We have 2 providers in the office, Dr. Shakeel Niazi and his son, Dr. Umair Niazi. If you feel more comfortable seeing the same dentist every time, we will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

  • What technology does your dental office use?

    Our office uses intra-oral cameras to take digital pictures of patient's teeth and the inside of their mouths. We use digital diagnostics, scanners, and x-rays to remove guesswork in treatment plans. We are also one of the few offices in Michigan to offer YOMI robotically enabled dental implant surgery.

  • Does your office offer same-day crowns?

    Yes, our office offers same-day CEREC crowns. The quick design process allows for same-day service, so you can get a new crown in just one visit.

  • Does your office offer implants?

    Yes. In fact, we are also one of the few offices in Michigan to offer YOMI robotically enabled dental implant surgery.

  • Do you offer emergency dental services? Are you open on evenings and weekend?

    Yes, we offer emergency dental services. Our office has evening hours on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Our office is open every-other Saturday.
